Squire Alternative for Barbershops: Shop Tools Without the Enterprise Price

Squire is built for big barbershops with big budgets. Here's how Book My Barber SBS gives growing shops booking, booth rent, walk-ins, and marketing for less.

Squire aims at the premium shop

Squire is a full barbershop management platform with tiers for independent barbers up to multi-location brands. Pricing published by PricingSaaS (June 2026) lists plans at $30, $50, $150, and $250 a month, with add-ons like an AI assistant at $99 a month and branded landing pages at $25 a month.

For large, established shops that use every feature, that can be worth it. For a growing shop with three to six chairs, it's often more software than you need at a price that eats into your margin.

What a growing shop actually needs

Book My Barber SBS covers all of that. Booking starts at $29/month with the first chair included and $19 per extra chair. Booth rent tools are on Booking + Calendar Sync ($44) and up. The Local Service plan ($149) adds done-for-you social posting, booking funnels, and an SEO blog. SBS's Chair-Filler assistant also offers open spots to your waitlist and texts regulars when they're due.

Try it without disrupting the shop

Switching software in a busy shop is risky. Start SBS on the Booking + Calendar Sync plan, connect the calendar you already use, and run both side by side for a couple of weeks. Once your barbers and regulars are comfortable, turn the old system off.
